Alerts

Alert rules watch a watchlist for keywords and post a match to a channel typically within 10 minutes of it appearing — independent of any digest schedule. Posts are collected every 10 minutes, so a match reaches you on that cadence rather than the instant it is published.

Matching

Matching is case-insensitive. A keyword made only of letters, digits, _, $, #, or @ matches on token boundaries (ETH won't match ethereal; $ETH matches $ETH,). Any other phrase — multi-word, CJK, or containing punctuation — matches as a plain substring. Both a tweet's own text and any quoted or referenced text are scanned. Exclude keywords veto an otherwise-matching hit, and a minimum-engagement threshold (likes plus twice the retweets) can set a floor.

Hourly caps and overflow

Each rule has an hourly cap (default 20, adjustable from 1–100) on how many matches it delivers per rolling hour. Matches beyond the cap are suppressed and rolled into a single "N more matches" overflow card for that rule, once per clock hour — later suppressions in the same hour aren't announced again, though every match, including suppressed ones, stays visible on the Alerts page.

Limits

Up to 20 alert rules per workspace, 1–20 keywords per rule, each 1–50 characters. Whether a workspace's alerts fire at all depends on your plan — see Billing.
